San Francisco Town in Camotes Island Cebu

San Francisco Town is one of the 3 towns in the Island of Camotes in Cebu. It is 30 minutes travel from the Pier while 2 hours sea travel from the Mainland Cebu. From Cebu City it will take 1 hours to reach Danao port. Camotes Island is home of one of the best beach in Cebu.

You can use all facilities available like bahay kubo and electricity. Free biking pa. So if you are working in an outsourcing company offering call center services this is the right place to relax and enjoy your summer of weekend. I strongly recommends this island for call center agents.

Lake Danao Camotes Island

On the way to Lake Danao - You will only see plain and lot of useless farm. Hope the Department of Agriculture helps this island.

This is 1 hour float for only P150. We enjoy the stay yet too bad we did not bring our foods.

The famous Lake Danao docking area. This is re enactment of the introduction of certain movie maker when i child jump to the lake from the same structure. Too bad we did not jump. We feel that the lake has Crocodile.

You can actually catch fish or do fishing on the side of the lake then have it cooked by the people in the park P150 per kilo. Villagers of the area was told by their forefathers that this place were used to be full of crocodiles not until they were hunted and sold in Mindanao to produce bags, shoes, and belts out of crocodile skin.

Behind are some fishes best for catching.

The best thing that you should not leave the place without posing at this single mini docking station of the sakanaw(balsa).



This is a balsa maintained by a private owner, a villager nearby. You can rent this for only P25.00 per head per hour. This is quite cheaper but the thing is it cannot travel around the whole lake area for it was just being controlled by a rope for they are not allowed to use motor.

It contains fresh water and still is abundant with fishes.
And this is the sakanaw or balsa that u can use to tour around the lake for a fee of P500.00 maximum of 20 persons. This is being maintained by the local government.

Timubo Cave in Camotes Island

The Timubo Cave in Camotes Island is one of the fresh water cave in the Camotes Island where visitors is allowed to swim. It took us about 30 minutes driving from the San Francisco Town in Camotes.

Lucky too many people and motorcycles are going there so you will not miss any path to this area. The road is not concrete so be ready. Visit Camotes Island now and enjoy the summer.

This is the road to Timubo cave so you need to drive slowly.

Even so there are lights, still scary. Yet no worry for there are many people come and go inside. I


It is so deep and may be about 3 to 4 floors deep.

Best Resort in Bantayan Island

Abanico Beach Resort less than 5 minutes in Bantayan Island Pier - Sta Fe Town. This resort has nice room good for 2, good for family and good for barkada (group). There is a billard table, Karate hall and mini gym in short.



Ugtong cave resort is a well design big resort in Bantayan Island. A little expensive for me.

Placid Resort in Bantayan Sta Fe. They have Karaoke bar at night.

Budyong resort in Bantayan Island has many rooms in different prices. The lowest are not usually available so you need an early booking.


Cota beach resort in Bantayan Island is just in the front of the sand bar. It is so nice during morning but not good in the afternoon until evening. Low tide bro. I have it i can not swim.



Sugar Beach Resort is one of the best but expensive. They have many visitors and mostly foreign. This is the resort where Maui Taylor got trouble.

Where can you find affodable Car Parts in Cebu

One saturday, our car got problem on radiator so it cause over heat. By saturday the car mechanic in Cebu Minglanilla instructed us to find a second hand car parts or suplus from Japan. So we visit the colo and leon kilat area.

Lucky we found this very professional and quality looking car parts stores located in 98 Borommeo St. Cebu City. The name of the store is Kapitan Parts Center Co. Inc. The service is good and the prices is affordable even the model or brand are the same. Well what we buy are 10 pounds Hydrogen Jack worth P750 while in Gaisano and Sm it will cost us P1000+. We also buy aircon fan worth P1000+. Tire black is only P75, X-Wrench which is P160 and Spray Pain worth P110.

I strongly recommend you to visit this place during canvassing.

Mangodlong Rock Resort in Camotes Island Cebu

Mangodlong Rock Resort in Camotes Island Cebu is one of the best resort in Camotes but a little expensive for local tourist like us. It is because they do not have fan room so you need to spend P1600 per night. Mostly visitors that stays here are foreigners like Korean, European and Americans.

Mangodlong Rock Resort swimming pool. It is actually small and its looks like prepared for children. No body is swimming because the guest are mostly foreigner which is not enough for the pools size.



Lance really wanted to swim but we do not have time to stay.

Free use of the cottage if you are guess. You will see foreigners in the background.


Jumping in this Mangodlong Rock Beach Resort is common for the local tourist. Have you jump here already?
