Best Place to Visit in Bantayan Island

This is the crystal clear water of the Virgin Island in Bantayan.


This is the only portion that is suitable for swimming or outing. Too many visitors arrives in this location during summer.

Sand Bar or Barrier is good in the morning specially high tide. Its actually like an sand island during high tide but in low tide you can walk from the main beach. Its too hot which is unhealthy for swimming or sand bathing.

Yes this is the best place for island hopping in Bantayan Island. The Virgin island is 30 minutes small boat travel. The worth of the banca or small boat is between 2000 to 3000 depending on the size of the boat as well as number of passenger.

1. Mangrove farm in Bantayan Town which is about 3o minutes motorcycle ride.
2. The long white beach that stretch from Sta Fe Beach Club to Abanico Beach Resort. You can walk on this white beach while site seeing to the various facilities of each beach resort and restaurant.

Mangrove Park Omagieda Oboob Bantayan Cebu

Mangrove Park is one of the favorite destination if you visit Bantayan Island. The mangrove park has a bamboo pathway where you can move almost every part of the mangrove forest.


It is found in Barangay Omagiela in Bantayan Town. The guard will required you to pay for the entrance which I forget already. However it is bigger than P100


This Mangrove park is actual about 5 to 8 kilometers from Sta Fe town. It is away from the main road so you need to pay the habal habal driver the amount of 50 per person to get there

The front beach of Sugar Beach Resort. We actually have some few pictures and unable to stay long in this beach resort because the there are many more beach resort to visit. There is entrance fee for day visitors who arrived from Banka. It is P30 per head but if you arrive through land trip it will cost you about P100 to P150.

The beach is good in the morning only because in the afternoon the low tide is so big that is not healthy to swim.


This fine white beach resort is a perfect summer and call center team building destination.

What i like in Sugar Beach Resort is the coconut trees right beside the white beach. So common Cebuanos and Manilenos, here is your perfect destination.


However if you are looking for reasonable and romantic resort in Bantayan island i recommend the Abanico beach resort because one concrete room is worth P800 only and you have your CR just in front of the white beach. It is peaceful and the customer service is 100% guaranteed. Just 1 ride from the Pier and you can even walk if you like.
