Harbor View Resort in Camotes Island is one of the best resort to stay in Camotes Island. It is 10 minutes away from San Francisco Town Proper and 30 minutes away from Santiago Bay. Harbor View is one of the non busy ambiance resort in Camotes. It was like semi private resort since it accommodates less than 50 people. If you arrive from Consuelo Port, you need to travel 30 to 40 minutes going to this resort. But if you arrive from Poro Port, then it will be 5 minutes only. That is why it is called harbor resort. It face the Poro Pier. This resort have their own service so you can arrange with them the pick up schedule.

This is the cheapest room worth P400 per day. Good for lover because it can accomodate 2 person only.

Is there a Gasoline Station in Camotes Island?

The Petron Gasoline station is located just outside the Camotes town proper

I find only one gasoline station in Camotes Island at P63 per liters. If you load P500 pesos then it is enough to encircle the town but if you are coming from Cebu City all the way to Danao until Camotes then better load P1200 for sure.

How Much Is the Cost of Bringing Car or Multicab in Camotes

The cost of bringing multicab to Camotes Island using Jomalia Shipping is P1200. Additional Port Fee of P165. The driver is free so only the other passengers will pay P180 per head for non aircon and P200 for aircon room. P15 per head on Port Fee.



You will not see this view if you are just rending motorcycle or jeep because the drivers do not usually travel in this part of the town. It is farther south of the Camotes Island


Riding the Barge or Boat going to Camotes during summer is safe. I always look for life jacket whenever i ride boats or ships.

Can I Leave my Car in Danao Port?

Can You Leave Your Car in Danao Port? Yes, any Port in Cebu as long as the Coast Guard and the Philippines Port are there you can leave your car for P75 per day.


Barge or Ship that transport both cars and passengers to Camotes Island - The super shuttle is much bigger but more expensive.

Cars and SUV park inside the Port being guard by the Port Authority for P75 per days.
